Anti- Bully Zone

Here at Dayton Heights we are a bully free zone.

Every spring students create their own anti-bullying posters to display at the beginning of each new school year.

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance.

The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time.

gerund or present participle: bullying

  1. use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants.

Parent Workshops open to All!

We have many different parent workshops on a variety of topics.  We feel it is important for all of us to be as well informed as possible.  These are some of the workshops we will be offering:

January 16, 2017- “College Planning 101”

January 23, 2017- “Suicide Prevention”

January 26, 2017- LASUD Graduation Requirements

January 30, 2017- “Helping your child plan for a career and a good job”

All parents are invited to attend.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn about many topics, get advice and to be supported by other parents in attendance.  Furthermore, the more you know the more you can help your children achieve in school and life.

We will begin offering computer and English classes next semester of 2018 through our partnership with LACC.
