Vision & Mission

Our Vision at Dayton Heights Elementary is one where all students are taught a standards-based curriculum that is rigorous, appropriate, and motivating in a safe, secure, and effective environment.  All students will be taught by highly-qualified staff who are accountable to the school community as a whole; working collaboratively to provide ongoing improvement of the learning process by maintaining high expectations.  Students and staff will utilize current up-to-date resources and technology in an atmosphere of equity, respect, and fairness which is culturally rich and diverse in collaboration with family and community who are equal participants in the educational process.

Our Mission at Dayton Heights Elementary School is to develop lifelong learners who will be productive, active citizens in a democratic society by providing a rigorous, diverse, and motivating standards-based curriculum delivered in a safe, efficient, and effective learning community.
